Morning Devotional tip #4
Grab that verse!
You know when your reading the word of God even the same passage you now know off by heart but for some reason today it’s really stands out. This is the Holy Spirit highlighting and breathing life onto something personally for us. It’s an encounter with the Spirit of truth.
Don’t rush pass that verse. Write it down. Write the scripture out a few times. Read it again. Speak it out loud. Turn it into a 30 second prayer. Break it down into a phrase. Chew on that verse/s. Grab that verse. Write down what the Lord is saying, revealing to you.
The Lord always has something to say. His word is an access point to hear Him. Before you start reading ask the Lord to give you fresh eyes to see and fresh ears to hear what He is saying.
